We celebrated Kobe's first birthday!!!!!! We held it at Grandma and Grandpa Payne's house on December the 18th. The theme was Mickey Mouse Club House. I made the cake and icing from scratch... which was a total pain in the butt, but was well worth it. Some of Chris' family came from Los Angeles (his mom, grandma, two aunts, and his nephew). I had a few friends of mine come as well, and of course some of my family (mom, dad, Cassi, Lyndsi, Justin, and Brandon). Good thing I held the party inside, because it was poring rain the entire time. He got lots of great gifts. He got a cell phone from Lyndsi and her kids (which is great because he always tries to steal mine). She got him another present (a toy with one wheel that plays music when you roll it back and forth) as well, but mom got the same exact thing so one of them stays at moms house for all the kids to play with... haha! He also got a Thomas the Train flash light, a couple of books, and lots of new clothes (which I love of course). Thank you all that came to help celebrate Kobe's First Year!! We can't believe he is ONE already!!!!!!!

Kobe and Chris have a lot of fun together. I constantly get picture messages on my cell while I'm at work and he makes me laugh every time. They are usually pics of a really big dirty diaper, spit up all over Chris' clothes and neck, Kobe playing with some of his favorite toys, or him taking a nap. It definitely makes work go by faster.
