Spring time

We celebrated Kobe's first birthday!!!!!! We held it at Grandma and Grandpa Payne's house on December the 18th. The theme was Mickey Mouse Club House. I made the cake and icing from scratch... which was a total pain in the butt, but was well worth it. Some of Chris' family came from Los Angeles (his mom, grandma, two aunts, and his nephew). I had a few friends of mine come as well, and of course some of my family (mom, dad, Cassi, Lyndsi, Justin, and Brandon). Good thing I held the party inside, because it was poring rain the entire time. He got lots of great gifts. He got a cell phone from Lyndsi and her kids (which is great because he always tries to steal mine). She got him another present (a toy with one wheel that plays music when you roll it back and forth) as well, but mom got the same exact thing so one of them stays at moms house for all the kids to play with... haha! He also got a Thomas the Train flash light, a couple of books, and lots of new clothes (which I love of course). Thank you all that came to help celebrate Kobe's First Year!! We can't believe he is ONE already!!!!!!!

HALLOWEEN 2010

Halloween 2010

We had lots and lots of fun at Kobe's first pumpkin patch. I was lucky to get a few pics with him actually looking at the camera. He had so much to look at and most of my pics are of the sides and back of his head.

This is a 30-second clip of Kobe laughing at Cassi for over 2 minutes straight. It was soooooo funny. He laughed continuously until Mom said something, then he stopped and just looked at her. If he could talk, he would have said, "Be quiet Grandma... I'm laughing with Cassi here!!"

Kobe is just chillin in his car seat. I keep forgeting to cut the little cat (or whatever it is) off of his right pad because he chewed the other one off months ago. Oops!

One of Kobe's favorite times is bath time! He HAS to chew on his brush or a wash cloth the entire time he is in the bath!

Kobe LOVES putting everything in his mouth. My hair, toys, paper, clothes, etc.
He also loves to look directly at someone and smile!! I love his smiles. It makes every day a good day.

His last play time with Kelli. She calls him "Widdle-widdle", "Grumpy-Gills", and say's Kobe "you are so cwazy to me!!!!" We miss you Kelli!!

Kobe and Chris have a lot of fun together. I constantly get picture messages on my cell while I'm at work and he makes me laugh every time. They are usually pics of a really big dirty diaper, spit up all over Chris' clothes and neck, Kobe playing with some of his favorite toys, or him taking a nap. It definitely makes work go by faster.

This is me and Kobe hanging out while he is sitting in his bumbo. He typically only last about 5 minutes in that thing though because he some how lifts himself almost comletely out of it!! I think he is part magician. I find him in the weirdest places and in the weirdest positions.

This was our fun trip to the bay area for Billy and Angie's wedding. We loved seeing all the family and we got to go to the Golden Gate Bridge the morning of the wedding. It was Chris and Kobe's first time there. Kobe did pretty well for his first long car ride.

A few pics from after Kobe Christopher's blessing on Sunday, February 14. He only cried for the first few seconds while dad was blessing him, so I was very relieved. He looked so cute in all white.

We had a great time with Kobe at his first lakers game. He didn't mind all of the loud noise at all and even took a nap in the end of the first quarter. He looked so cute in his head-to-toe Lakers outfit.

A nice laugh and smile for his Aunt Kelli.

A recent pic of Kobe. He is now 7 weeks old. I can't believe our little baby is growing so fast. He already weighs well over 10 pounds and is at least 24" tall.
